Are there any performance differences between the 150, 250, and 350. I recently got a 150, but I still notice heavy motion blur on livetv. I was a bit disappointed because I always thought this was do to harddrive speed and though the 150's hardware encoding would make it all fine.

I am no expert, so if anyone is please correct me. I think the 150 uses an mpeg2 encoder while the 350 has a mpeg4 encoder. (Not sure on this) but I would imagine that the 350 does a better job at processing a live feed. your right that the 150 has a hardware encoder but it still uses system memory and cpu cycles for some forms of processing. Maybe your performance is an issue because of a slow cpu or a lack of ram?

That second post isn't accurate. You should get very similar (if not identical) results from all three.

The 150 is the newer version of the 250 with more inexpensive components I believe. This isn't to say that it performs worse, just that its cheaper for the end consumer.

The 350 has an mpeg2 decoder that can be used to display via the tv out port.

The PVR-350 has Video out. Not a mpeg4 encoder. The possible problem with your blurryness, is that you need to increase the encoding bitrate (IMO, the default is too low)

Go into setup on the frontend and change that under recording profiles.
