I'm trying to install Mythbuntu virtually, ie. running win xp with MS Virtual PC, (aaaagh, dont kill me, i'm just curious about setting up virtual OS's), but when I load the install CD, it doesn't detect the mouse, so I cant select 'Install Mythbuntu'. In one of my attempts, I got a login screen, but I dont know if there is a standard login name, password !! Is there??
Note: I have to try the 'Safe Mode' as the default mode (running virtually) detects an 'S3' graphics driver (mine is the i810) which fails to load GDM.
Any ideas???? pls.

You should better use Virtualbox from Innotek.
It should work better.

Use Virtualbox. And the live cd shouldn't have a password. I believe the user is live

Cheers, I use Ubuntu Edgy, and I've copied down the .deb files for VirtualBox (ie. my Edgy box doesnt have an internet connection) so I'll give it a go tonite. I've already tried other versions of Ubuntu (Virtually) but the one I like most (Virtually) is Zenwalk....their bottom deskbar/taskbar (like the Apple OS) is coool.
