I don't seem to be able to save edits since the system was down on sunday. Oct.4

The title explains it all.
I hit save after making an edit, and the "loading" swirly thing just spins indefinitely, without ever loading the change.

Tried the old "clearing your cache" etc. ?

Well,
clearing the cache didn't work,
but restarting Firefox did.
Wierd.
