question on multiple posts

I posted a How To here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=3703909#post3703909) in Absolute Beginner and a person responded to it by recommending I post to other forums and add it to the Wiki. I did not know you could post to multiple forums. Is this OK to do - if I had my choice there are a couple other forums I think this would be appropriate to add.

You should be able to ask a Admin or Mod move the thread in question to the Tutorials & Tips section.
