I have this problem in 7.10, though it also occurred in 7.04.
I am using xmame-x, but also have the packages xmame-gl and xmame-sdl installed for good measure. GXMame is frontending xmame-x. In the preferences menu you can select a video mode. With xmame-x, you should be able to choose between "Normal", "X Video", or "OpenGL", however OpenGL is missing. My question is, how do I get it to appear in the menu? Is GXMame just not detecting that OpenGL is available (it is, and should work just fine, both Gens and Zsnes are able to access it)?
GXMame's set to use the libraries libGL.so & libGLU.so for OpenGL.
Any ideas?
