Hope you can help. I'm thinking this is something silly that I've forgotten to do that's causing this problem, and hopefully someone will tell me what it is!
I was using a Feisty package for SDLMame from here, (http://wallyweek.altervista.org/)on my new Gutsy setup which seemed to have this problem. Whether I was playing a game or even just browsing the menu it flickered between the desktop and fullscreen mode. The panels at the bottom showed up along with the window bar when this would occur, and it would jump between this and fullscreen.
Thinking this was because it was packaged for Feisty rather than Gutsy, I decided to pop back to the site and download the newer 0.120u1 version which had been made for Gutsy specifically. I completely removed the old version and put on the newer one, but the problem remains. Strangely, when running the program from a terminal there is no error output when this occurs. :confused:
Anyone know what the problem is here? Your help is much appreciated.
