SuperTux / TuxKart / TuxRacer - No Icons

Hi,

I have just installed SuperTux, TuxKart and TuxRacer from Synaptic, and no icons have been created in the Applications menu. I have removed and reinstalled, thinking something was wrong with the install, but that hasn't helped. I have also restarted Gnome, but they still don't appear.

Any ideas?

Hi, I ran into this as well. If you look through the "unofficial guide" It shows you how to add programs to the menu list. look at this example http://ubuntuguide.org/#dvdrip

you need to replace dvdrip with your game title. Also, you can have it show up in the "games" tab by replacing" Categories=Application;AudioVideo;"
with" Categories=Application;game;

I'm having trouble with this too. I downloaded / installed tuxkart in Synaptec but it does not appear in the menus. Shouldn't it?
