Gaaaahhhhh.
Can I get a general step by step process to get SC and WC3 working with Wine?
I read the stickies, those didn't help me much. I still have no clue what I need to do. I've spent a couple hours trying to figure it out and read guides etc. What I need is just a step by step walkthrough that I can follow easily, because some of the guides I've looked at are confusing and hard to follow.
Help out a linux newbie...I don't wanna use Vista for gaming anymore (hey, at least I got dual-booting done right -_- ).

Hahaha, 20 minutes and one view.
Thanks guys, this is why I still have Vista on my computer. Not even a view for any of my 4 topics that I've made.
...real great...

Um, how active do you think these forums are? Sometimes it can take a day or more before you get an answer, it just depends on whether or not someone who comes here has actually tried the game you are running. It also might be helpful if you would provide some detailed information, such as the steps you have taken and the actual error/problem you have encountered.
As for a step by step, its really quite simple:
Put the game CD in the drive
Open a terminal
Type "wine /media/cdrom/setup.exe" and hit enter (change the path and executable name to match the actual game you are installing)
Follow the prompts just like you would in Windows
Once installed, to launch the game you need to do this:
Open a terminal (if you haven't already)
enter "cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/<game install directory>" (change the path to match the game's actual install directory)
Launch the game by entering "wine <game.exe>" (obviously change the name to match the actual executable for the game)
Once you have done that, if you receive any errors in the terminal, post the errors here and maybe we can troubleshoot the problem further.
EDIT - BTW, I just looked at your post history and every one of your threads has been responded to at least once.

Stick with Vista then, no one here is going to lose sleep over it.
You asked a very broad question that's been answered dozens of times before on this forum. You'll also find dozens of guides for both (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=warcraft+3+wine&btnG=Search) games (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=starcraft+wine&btnG=Search) with one simple Google (http://www.google.com) search. If you're too lazy to try and do anything on your own, you don't belong here.

No excuse for this kind of post.
The people here are just people like yourself who volunteer their time to assist others WHEN THEY CAN. No on is obligated to respond to anything they don't care to, or know nothing about.
I suggest you re-think your importance in the world as a whole, or take your ***dows learned support demanding tactics elsewhere... no one here is being paid to help you, so you damn well better not act like it.
**EDIT** I also just noticed that every single thread you've started has been replied to, most of them on the same day/hour. I suggest you also cut the crap lying as well.
