I have a PC running Ubuntu for 2 years! It's a 1.2 GHz PIII with 512 MB RAM. I am very interested in using a XFCE-based distro on it. Now and then I did use Xubuntu, and I even tried installing Zenwalk.
But the main problems are network browsing and VNC. This old PC is used as my file server (accessed through my other PC running Windows XP and openSUSE 10.3 through Samba) and since it's not in my room, I work in it through VNC.
But these two are not easily done in XFCE. Help will be nice.
If I am successful, I may install Debian with XFCE, Zenwalk (again), Xubuntu or Vector Linux.
Thanks.
