Lots of newbies ask for help with multimedia. This was a good sticky for the forum.

It's probably because the vast majority of codecs auto-install the first time you try to open a file requiring it.
Now we just need to figure a way for Ubuntu to download the necessary codecs when we put a DVD movie in our drives, and we're all set.

The mutlimedia and Video forum now has two stickies both the same. Most newbies make for Absolute beginners and this is where the "enabling Multimedia" sticky lived.
Maybe it needs updating?

Okay, I updated the info in the sticky (the medibuntu repos were not correct) and added a link to the medibuntu doc page.
I removed the dup sticky, there is a link in this one in ABT (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=232059). Is this okay with you ?

Ok with me thanks very much.
Although the title "enabling multimedia in Feisty" will have newbies searching for or posting "how to enable multimedia in Gutsy"
