ok this is more to start discussion rather then an actual at hand issue.
I'm a windows admin with little linux experience.
I know how to setup a windows network. I have an idea how I would set up a linux/windows network
What are the recommend ways you would or have setup an all linux network?
Say you have the following typical requirements
webserver
DNS
DHCP
File Sharing
central logon (no local user accounts)
shared databases
remote access
minimal server and workstation maintenance
and you have to accommodate about
5 sales people (remote users)
2 accountants
3 executives
5 helpdesk people
2 front desk people (reception)
if my scenario is unclear please add your suggestions
Thanks!! and hope something interesting can come out of this.
