zsnes sound pops and cracks

I just upgraded to 1.51 I used to fix this by enabling the sound buffer feature. It seems they have done away with this feature in version 1.51 is there another way to fix the popping? The new 1024x768 res option is nice I would hate to have to switch back.

I disabled interpolation and SPC emulation. This stopped the popping, but isn't the best option in the world is there any other options

Just curious, have you searched the forums and tried some of the sound tips mentioned for zsnes?
