Upgrading the Kernel

Currently on the Power Edge 1950's that I have I'm running Kernel 2.6.15-28-server.

Is there a howto/setup page already published on upgrading (or finding the latest 2.x.xx-xx-server kernel)?

You mention, 2.x.xx-xx-server, which implies you want a ubuntu-specific packaging of the kernel. Am I correct? If so, there are rules for issuing an updated kernel, as well as a general timeline: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelServerRoadmap (ubuntu server roadmap)

If you want to ignore the ubuntu repositories, check out kernel.org

I would definitely want to stick with an ubuntu specific packaging of the kernel to try and minimize any issues in the future.
