Hey there...just looking for scribus 1.3.0. 1.2.1 is the latest in the repo. My reason: UNDO! There's no friggin UNDO in 1.2.1! I'm surprised to find a DTP app w/o undo...you know, for screw-ups like me. ;-)

I'm also looking for this. It's a great application which has evolved quite a bit since 1.2.1

Same here, I've seen 1.3.x on another distro and there are quite a few changes including tabs with fill characters. Scribus is really growing fast.

Visit the Scribus.net Debian repository (http://www.scribus.net/index.php?name=Sections&req=viewarticle&artid=4&page=1)
Follow the instructions here to compile the source packages for your arch. Note that the breezy repo should be used for dapper.

I got scribus from synaptic but it shows it's version 1.2.4.1. I also can't type anything into a text box with it. Windows version work great. Any ideas why what I type isn't showing up? Right mouse click in text box and choose edit text. New box opens, type ... nothing appears... nothing. I tried changing my keyboard layout but that didn't seem to do anything. I'm running Dapper 6.06lts
Edit: Looks like the default font is Lohit Bengali Regular. After changing it to bitstreem it worked fine.. Go figure.
