I hope that "sick" is in the good way.
I really like creating vector art. But I must stick with Fireworks, since no vectorial app in ubuntu appeals my needs. I tried Inkscape, Xara, and another one I forgot.. Anyone knows another app worth trying out?

Added.
If you want to add any other color, you can grab gimp, add a new layer, dump a bucketload of <your color> and set the layer with 80% opacity and Hue mode.
No hard feelings though.

Very very attractive and neat!
Just one request, could you perhaps raise the visibility of those flowing "white" lines in the background a bit please? I'm afraid my mental graphic-design dictionary won't boot up this morning, so I don't know how to explain this better
I'm referring to the lines in the tapered section above the middle line.

I love the work you've got here. And you've got a blue one! Most of the time I am the first one requesting a blue one! :D

vector graphics are resizable graphics that don't loose quality.

Play around with it, and read some tutorials. That is how I became good at it.

Very clean looking, I like them.
How's Fireworks work under WINE? Any specific problems with it? I used to use it alot a couple years ago while still on Windows XP, and I do miss some of the functions that are in it that aren't present in GIMP.

Fireworks works fine, as all studio 8 does. My only complaint, is that when changing a gradient color, for instance; the menu popups, you select the block to apply the color, then the color selector. As soon as you select your color, all closes, so I have to reopen everything.
Although, is not a big bug, but fixed would be great. Aside form that, everything works.
