i have installed the latest Billiard GL from the repo's. when i run it it opens fullscreen and bigger than my monitor. i can move my mouse to the edge of the screen and it will scroll across. when i exit the game my desktop is now too large for my monitor. the only way to fix it is to eather ,log out or press ctrl+alt+backspace (kill gnome i think)
any ideas?

You can cycle through the resolutions set up in your xorg.conf file with "CTRL + ALT + KP_PLUS or KP_MINUS". Where the "KP" means keypad :)

Try Foobillard it's in the repositories, for the record Billard-gl did the same to me.

Do any of you folks have sound when playing FB? I don't. Sounds in Gnome work, of course, as with other games. But not with FB. :(

Yep sound works for me, I don't think the sound setup does anything in FB 'options' though.

No sound here....
without hijacking this thread, but if it's appropriate to tag a question on to this thread then my question is how to actually accurately aim the cue ball at an object ball? On windows versions of this game there is a cue stick that one aims at the cue ball that tells us where teh strike will take place and some mechanism to say where on the object ball we are aiming. I see no thing like that on Billiard GL which makes the game incomplete in my experience. But it may just be my bad install??
thank you

There is some sort of pad option, I don't remember what it was though, similar to when you try to watch boxee on a bigscreen. I still play this game, but now they have online pool like poker where u can play for $$ so I am trying that out. So far .. meh ... hehe. I just bought a new cue too check it out Poison Anthrax AX2 pool cue (http://www.billiardbuyer.com/products/2264/anthrax-ax2.html) :).
