I actually have one of those where I work on the weekends. Yay for lifeguarding.

Although I don't get to use it. I just try to keep kids from killing themselves on it.

Clothing optional on the first Tuesday of the month on odd months and the second Tuesday of the month on even months.

(It would be interesting, but most likely not very pretty... ;))

((making it complicated would most likely result in the odd person getting it wrong and standing out all day ))

PO's are polite, educated, respectable individuals and the clients are in general pre-human, dishonest scum.

You work in a probation office? Awesome. I temped at one a long time ago, and what you say about the "customers" is true. I worked at the county level, so we got mainly drunk drivers, domestic violence cases, and child molesters. I also once got a bomb threat on my voice mail there.

On-topic: a disco ball and a DJ

I too am at county level, drunks, heroin addicts, domestic violence, dealers, users, and generally people too stupid to function are daily contacts.

Interestly, I met a new high in low, when a defendent at sentencing told the judge (after pleading guilty about 90 days earlier, and having the PSI) she didn't take part in the crime (a crime involving many people and committing many crimes) and that she was just standing there. SHE WAS THE LOOK OUT! Needless to say, the judge went into the aggravated range...

I am a student now, and Linux is spreading with me at the epicentre.

At "work", my internship, their are no known Linux users, except for the IT guy for the county.

Sounds like fun! BUT, there are just SOME people that you don't want to see topless!!! TRUST ME! For the others, well, I don't think I would get work done because of the distractions!

Free laptops should be the norm! Issued on day 1 and is yours after a set time period!
