Finally! I've been using the development versions for some time, but it's nice that it's actually out.

Yay! Although, I was using all the new features back since 2.3.10 or so. It's nice to see that they've released it so more people can enjoy it. Anyone know if it's going to be put in Gutsy's repos?

2.4rc3 is already in gutsy. Hopefully it will be upgraded to 2.4 stable.

I have been using 2.4 for a while now since I got Gusty. But Have not noticed any new features... Maybe Im just blind. :P I gota go find a change log. The new GUI graphics are pretty nice though.

EDIT: Woah, how did I miss these changes... I really must be blind. Or just not paying attention. Found the release notes on the Gimp website. And finally took the time to check out the changes. Awesome stuff. I would use Gimp over Photoshop any day.

the gimp 2.5 final from getdeb doesn't work because of ubuntu problems... it's annoying...
