a warning to my fellow ubuntu users:
I have had a MAJOR issue with usplash that involves my intel 82915G/GV/910GL Integrated Graphics Controller video card.
I have no idea if you can file bug reports here or anywhere else on the forums but I am going to try to sign up to launchpad to report this bug.
