Any help and or ideas?

Okay, so I am busy working on a derivative of ubuntu due to some codes from Linux Format magazine, I was wondering, while Im editing all of the source and resource files can I change the boot screen and theme and such so when I install my OS my Boot-screen log in screen and wallpaper appears? Its kind of a blurry description I know, If I think of a better way to explain I'll post it

I don't see why not, it might be just a script that the installer reads. Do a search on google and see if you can find anything.

Yeah. So far I just went through all of the directories and changed the boot image files to my custom ones, but I have yet to find the log in and theme for the install process. Aswell as changing the font color and progress bar color during load up
