There are two things I was able to do with Compiz on Fiesty and I'm missing with CF on Gutsy.

1) Can I activate the show desktop plugin by moving the mouse say in the right-lower corner? Other plugins offer this option, but I wasn't able to set it for the show desktop.

2) Is there a way to properly resize the windows? When I resize a window I'd like it to be uptated on the fly (like it worked with compiz on fiesty). Instead it seems that I can choose between a transparent rectangle and a streched version of the window. Usually when you resize a window it is because something does not fit. For instance you may have a Nautilus window with 3 icons per line, and you'd like to enlarge it in order to have 4 icons per line. Since the window is not updated until when you release the mouse, you get no feedback whether the window is now big enough to contain 4 icons or not.

1) You're right, the option seems to not be there. That's because we're techinically, from what I understand, are on an older version of Compiz. We'll need to wait until someone makes a bleeding edge repository so we can upgrade.

2) Just set the option to "Normal"...

Start ccsm, go to Window management and enable "shift switcher" i.e. choose mode " cover" go to tab actions, and unfold keybindings, double click initiate and select a screen edge repeat steps for initiate all workspaces and select a different corner. Voila.
