Sessions manager forgets new added startup applications

Today I've added screenlets to my new Gutsy desktop. I want to start them automatically everytime when I log in. I tried to configure this in the sessions manager, but every time when I log out and then in again, the sessions manager seems to forget the changes I made before logging out.

Does anyone know what to do?

Are you getting an error when you start the screenlets daemon? (the manager). It seems to happen to alot of users (including me).

Also some screenlets just won't startup.. even if I manually added them into the session startup.

Yeah I get the error too;

"Unable to connect or launch daemon. Some values may be displayed incorrectly."

I there a clue or can I better get rid of the screenlets:confused:

I think alot of people get that error (no fix yet). What you can do is close the screenlets manager, open it again, then check the autostart ones.

Though beware even then some screenlets refuse to startup at startup. I even tried manually adding them to my session list. No go.
