Hi there! I've just installed lxdoom and it works fine, I can play and it goes smoothly. But I can't hear anything... looks like lxdoom has some problems with my audio system.
Can you help me?

I had a similar problem. You need to install the sound server as well - lxdoom-sndserv. This gets detected when you fire up lxdoom and you should now have sound.

Thank you! it works :D Anyway I noticed there is no sound track :| Maybe it's because I'm using the free wads and they probably don't come with any soundtrack.

Try the shareware version of Doom - this should test things out to see if it does work!

Was there anything else you needed to do? I've installed lxdoom and it installed lxdoom-sndserv as a dependancy. Unfortunately I still get no sound. This is on Breezy thought...
Any ideas?

I just upgraded to Breezy and I lost my sound with lxdoom. I solved the issue by downgrading the lxdoom-sndserv to the Hoary release. I have attaced the deb.
Hope that helps, Jereme
