Downloadable Puzzle Games from Yahoo Games/ Reflexive Arcade won't Work?

Hello,

I've tried using Wine running these games. I know there not that popular but these are the only games I could play in my laptop. Anyway, it runs after install ONLY. Afterwhich, when you try to run it again or click on the icon it created in your desktop, nothing happens. Anyway, I would just like to ask if someone made this run and if they did it successfully.

I guess my only option is to run it through qemu (Thank God I have a licensed WinXP lying around here) and run it through there.

Or are there any more alternatives? I just need to run these kind of games. Dual-boot is out of the question.

The only reason I can think of, is that the downloaded files still require some interplay with the yahoo site, or have cookies of some kind set, or something that makes the files different on second run from what they were on first run.

I know, this is a lousy explanation, but it's all I can think of... Slightly better than nothing.

What does it say if you try to run the game from the console? Maybe it ran after you installed them because you had root access at the time, or something like that.
