Impressed with ubuntuforums

I just have to take a moment and say how impressed I am with these forums. For one, they are the most active that I have ever seen. I had made a post and one minute later it was already on the third page in the Absolute Beginner forum. It wasn't because of new posts either. Posts a few pages back were still being answered! That is impressive that the community here doesn't just look at the first page.

I'd say that for a huge chunk of people here, who had initial teething problems with Ubuntu, they would probably have given up on Linux if it wasn't for the helpfulness of the users here.

You will find an occasional bad egg (as I just did some moments ago). The community is great. Without these forums, my wireless would not work, I would not have know about gutsy, compiz, the security of ubuntu, the joy of staying up until 4 in the morning, etc. I would be in windows playing unreal tournament instead of learning about computers with hopes to one day improve an alpha version of ubuntu.

So I am with you in saying, thank goodness for these forums!

Ubuntu Forums are the best forums I have run across!

I even have the Community Cafe RSS-ed into my Google Reader so I can check new topics frequently.
