i855 (i810 driver) with compiz and multi screen problem.

Hello,

I am using i810 (DELL Laptop 700m with 855GM Intel Graphic Chipset) driver with compiz on ubuntu 7.10 gusty.

When I try to use external display through out CRT,

1. It is disabled to select "secondary display".
2. When I select graphic chip set again, then it enable me to select "secondary display"
3. However, after selecting secondary display, compiz does not work anymore. (When I set it to normal, it complains video is not right or something.)

My question is if it is possible to use compiz with multi screen (or external display) with i810 driver.

Almost exactly the same as my problem. I have found that when I disable my second monitor, effects work perfectly.
