Hey everyone

I made a turtle wallpaper (because I don't know how to make multiple images in different resolutions its in 1280x1024 - - my resolution). It can be viewed here:

My questions are these:

Can anyone give me the information regarding the ubuntu logo? (is it free to use/modify like ubuntu?)

Where can I find the ubuntu text? I edited an image and scaled it.

Also for those who use gimp - if you look towards the corners of the ubuntu logo you can see a bit of the edge of the logo - how do I get rid of that?

Thanks.

Comments/Constructive Pointers welcome.

Not lookin to offend or step on any toes. Hope you guys enjoy. If someone could tell me how to scale the image to a different reso. I'd be happy to do it. Or if legality isn't a problem you could do it yourself. : )

i like it, the only thing is the logo isn't transparent. and here's how to fix that.

this has the logo (multiple version), then you can just put it on a different layer instead of having to try to crop your own.

Quite interesting. ;) I like it, but it's not the style of wallpaper I prefer to use. :)

You can get the ubuntu-title font by following these [very simple] instructions (http://ubuntu.wordpress.com/2006/07/12/download-and-install-the-ubuntu-title-font/). The font is licensed under the LGPL; although, I'm not q=exactly sure about the full logo.
