I'm looking for a relatively good free web hosting site to make a home page. I'm an gutsy gibbon user, and I want to make a home page as a medium to learn and practice XHTML/HTML (which should I do?) and Python. Any ideas?

Indeed it is, but will get better help and advise in the programming forums.

BTW why dont you just install apache2 php5 and mysql then you can develop and mess around offline.

this would give you the same functionality as any server on the internet.
