Correction, Mepis is a debian core again. Also, what format for compression does it use?

I'd always rather use a CD, so I don't mind if a dvd version was available as long as development continued strong on the liveCD. I like CDs better because they're faster, not as bloated, and compatible with many more computers. So please don't take my liveCDs away.

I am a poor user. And I don't understand why you hate me. What should I do with the DVD daily build? Burn it on a DVD. Then I need one. This means I have to buy a DVD. This means MONEY!

What's the problem here? Isn't linux supposed to be about the choice? And appreciation is not connected to the money AFAIK.
And i guess Zdravko is talking about buying a blank DVD.

One, how rude ;)
Two, you download Ubuntu DVD edition for free.
Three, Compressed installer would be good as long as performance didn't take a big hit and RAM requirements stay under 512.
