Kernel 2.6.22-14 is not working in my machine. Is it possible to install version 2.6.22-13? How? I cannot find it in synaptic.

If you haven't clear out your package since installing 2.6.22-13, the debs for the kernel and restricted modules will be there and you can install via dpkg.
If you have deleted the old packages (never advisable when testing a pre-release prior to confirming that updates do not cause any issues), you'll need to find someone that has 'em as the repos have been updated.
cheers,
