I am running Gutsy with all updates and can confirm this did not happen in Feisty or prior.
In a freshly loaded Gnome session I select "lock screen" or ctrl/alt/L (to lock screen) and it works as expected.
However, if I then return to my session after unlocking and decide to lock again, when selecting "lock screen" it takes me back to the logon screen and kills the running gnome session.
I am running compiz with ATI binary drivers and all current updates to Gutsy and get no errors in my log files, its as though I selected "log out" instead of "lock screen"
Can anyone else confirm, if so I will submit as a bug.
