3 boot to log-in screen

When I start up Gusty i get Splash screen then it goes to black screen and not the log-in screen. I have to reboot 3 times or more to get to log-in screen :confused: This also was a problem with Fiestyt - I had hoped Gusty would have resolved this problem:(

I have the latest updates as of 10-16-07 for gusty.

Anyone else with this problem ?

Any answers to the problem would be great.

Ati AIW 8500 DV video card with the Restricted driver - Works great when I get to log-in ( I know don't log-out :) ).

I don't have any answers. Have you filed a bug report on launchpad? It seems like a serious problem that devs would look at.

Thanks Sand Lee for the reply. I will check into to the bug report (newbie on reporting bugs) and see what I can do. Sure hope Gusty will end this problem once and for all :confused: .

I see that updates are available, maybe the fix is at hand :lolflag:
