View Full Version : Problems with the real time kernel

I tried the real time kernel for gutsy, and I give it the thumbs down.

Looks like it is not the same as the -generic kernel.

With the real time kernel my pvr150 is not detected, and my onboard intel HDA is also not detected.

Everything is ok with the -generic kernel.

(I used the gutsy i386 live cd from 15-oct-2007)

Perhaps some modules from the generic config were left out for the rt kernel. Can you load the modules manually or are they non-existent?
Best to probably do a diff between the the generic and rt configs to see if any lacking hardware support pops out and file a feature request if so.
