Just open wine-file and search for the installer. Although I'm not sure if it works under wine...

If you insert the first CD, don't you get an autorun window? When I installed something with wine I did get it...

What are the options before that?

I have a dualboot with Win2k and 7.10 with the win2k ntfs drive mounted as /windows with access. I also have Wine updated and have always seemed to have trouble. I want to say it's hardware, but I can't imagine what besides video card, even though its NVIDIA Geforce and supported in both OS.

I have plenty of space, 1GB RAM, 3.0ghz intel, SATA HDD. Wine just freezes, where I can "ps -ely" and see it taking up 600MB RAM but nothing is happening.

Got this from here (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=7500).

Installation: Copy Disc 1 contents to a folder. Have Disc 2 inserted. cd into the dir you copied the first disc too, and run installer.

It worked for me with the Rush Hour expansion. Sim City works well with Wine after I messed with some of the options. There is the occasional graphical glitch.
