No - it's really really really really really really really good.

I'm going to wipe all other distros from my drive and move exclusively to Vixta.

It's just a shame I didn't have to pay £XXX for it, just for the real experience - but I guess you can't have everything!

well really its easy to gussy up linux to look like vista... I have done it myself.

I couldn't find it on DistroWatch, do you have a link to the download site? And is it endorsed by Canonical?

Am I the only person on the world that think that Vista's looks are *bad* ?

We've got all these media talking for that amazing Aero look and I fail to find it. It was new 2 years ago when they showed as some screenshots. Seems too old and "heavy" right now.

I agree 100%. If it didn't look weird, I might actually use it. But I am not one for so many transparencies either.

I probably shouldnt be saying this but i actually like vista ok from what i have used of it. Although it cannot compare to ubuntu. It is actually pretty nice with some new features. Although i do like the eye candy aspect of things whether it be windows or linux. I have always hated the way windows looks and i think they are finally stepping in the right direction. But im afraid next week when the new of vista wears off i will be back to ubuntu considering all i am doing on this computer is typing and the ram usage is at 46% on this laptop with 2gb of ram. :(
