Hi does anybody know if there is a project going on trying to boot Linux on a Microsoft Smartphone 200*

Dunno, but there are some phones running Linux out of the box, available soon, if not already. Of course, this doesn't necessarily mean you can use it like a normal Linux system. The phonecos like things closed. :(
