I currently share my Firefox and Thunderbird settings between ubuntu and Windows via a shared partition. I hear that, in Gutsy, Firefox extensions can be installed through the package manager. Does this mean that I will need to install the addons twice - once through the package manager (for all other ubuntu users) and once inside Firefox so that I can share the addon settings? Or would it be better for me to install the addons outside of the package manager (which would mean that all users would need to install their own addons)?
Also, with Gutsy I am planning to use Evolution as my e-mail client. Can I share Evolution settings with windows via a shared partition?
