This post could be related to an Ubuntu bug filed at: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-system-monitor/+bug/152464 . ---------------------------- . .
I've posted a bug on launchpad about this earlier, but I am curious if other people are experiencing the same behaviour or if this is unique to my installation.
Here is the bug (Just copied what I posted in Launchpad):
I am currently using the latest Gutsy RC Release (64-bit).
System Monitor Version 2.20.0
gnome-system-monitor won't remember if I turn on the "Memory" column in my preferences for the "Processes" tab. It does remember all other information fields (that I have tried), and it does remember the position of the fields.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open gnome-system-monitor
2. Go to processes tab
3. Go to Edit > Preferences
4. Check "Memory" under "Information Fields"
5. Close and restart gnome-system-monitor (the "Memory" column will not show up on restart)
I'd appreciate if anybody can confirm this bug on another installation.
Thanks.
