View Full Version : [SOLVED] Alsa strangeness..

Whenever I want to play a multimediafile (music or video) the programs stop to work and get killed (Dialog pops up: Wait? or Kill?) As far as I figured out, oss works fine and all not multimedia programs work fine. I even started all media players via console, but there was no viable info about errors. Another messure I allready took was purging & reinstalling alsa stuff and whole gnome -.-
Plx help

Edit: no difference between kernel 2.6.22.12 and 2.6.22.14

Reinstalled the Gutsy Gibbon RC and it seems to be fixed now.. I guess it was a random hardware error (old devices *g*) r whatever .. fixed
