Hi I have had ubuntu ultimate gamers edition x86 edition installed for awhile now. And ive noticed in the add remove programs, it says for 88% of the stuff in there I cant install because it says it wont install on i386. Does that mean I need to install a 64bit version of ubuntu to be able to install that stuff. Bye the way I have a AMD 64bit dual processors.Running on HP Pavillion DV2000Z.
Also What is the difference between Fiesy Fawn And Edgy. Because right now ive got x86 Edgy installed if i'm going to have to switch to 64bit then ill have to install Fiesy Fawn..?

There are almost as many packages for 64bit as 32bit afaik
You should do a clean install with the new Ubuntu version on thursday

You might also choose to wait until the 18th of this month and install Gutsy. Edgy is geting old, it only has 6 months of support left.
