Gutsy is round the corner, and I'd like to download it by bittorrent and seed as much as possible - i.e. through my work connection. This means using XP. I've never used any bittorrent software in Windows - well I'm using Opera but the seeding doesn't sound fair (http://my.opera.com/community/forums/topic.dml?id=207249) (it stops when you close that Opera session and doesn't restart, e.g. when you log in next day).

I thought Opera would be a good choice, but even if it was I've never got it to download a single byte of any distro (I've tried lots and always had to go for ftp/ http instead), any suggestions for another BT client? It must be SECURE above all, as it's a work computer.

Seconding uTorrent, especially if all you're planning to do is snag Gutsy.

I'm gonna jump on board and 3rd it. I actually use it as my preferred Bittorrent client on 'nix as well by running it under WINE (works perfectly btw.) The searches seems a lot more thorough than Azureus, and you have more sites to choose from.
Props, btw, for insisting on seeding. There's gonna be a mad rush to download Gutsy, and the official servers will be packed for quite a while.

uTorrent is by far the best client at the moment.

Don't get anything later than version 1.6.1 if you are planning to use it for anhything else. After that they became friends with riaa and mpaa.
