(PICS) CF makes controls disappear, help :(

It seems to happen off and on, usually not after a fresh boot, but once it starts theres no way to fix things unless i kill compiz.

Other times the controls appear, but they won't update, like if you click on another tab, or tick a check box, but the changes still get registered and the buttons still work (just can't see it happening)

thanks for the encouragement, hope someone comes along (this is not a bump btw, i know i find them annoying too, but sometimes you just need attention)
