Alright, installed the gutsy upgrade, went fine and thus far the only issues I've noticed are my UbuntuStudio themes don't seem to work right anymore. I can't tell if it's the GTK or not but the panels and window titlebars have lost the glossy appearance and are now simply flat black. Any ideas?

Anybody?

I've reported it as a bug on Launchpad.

As far as I know the Ubuntu Studio devs just scrapped the glossiness on their theme.

So it's not a bug but a feature.

Yep, I'm a dumbass, a search of the ubuntu studio WIKI revealed that the official gutsy themes do not have the glossy appearance.

Now the question is; how to get the feisty themes to install in gutsy? It all seems to be automatic through apt-get and Synaptic both :(

ok, I seem to have traced it to the 'panel.png' in /usr/share/themes/ubuntustudio/gtk-2.0/panel/

Anyone on Feisty have that file and care to share it or is that frowned upon? I assume we're GPL here but everybody knows what assume stands for...

I'm gonna go install the feisty version of the ubuntustudio theme just for you :P

I'll update the post with the png you're asking for.

Got the PNG installed, thanks - fixed the gnome-panels only though.

User gigaferz was in the #ubuntustudio channel same time as I, and hooked me up with the full Feisty theme.

I love this community! :guitar:

Thanks guys!

Can you post the theme config info?
