screen brightness control through keyboard gutsy

I recently switched from feisty 32bit to gutsy rc1 64bit....loving it btw ;-)....and my question is why does fn+arrow up/down not control screen brightness anymore? I took that for granted in feisty lol

btw i'm using a dell e1505n with 1.73ghz C2Duo if that helps anyone....

Bumping this because I'm having the same problem with my laptop (same model) on Gutsy.

The only success I've had in Screen Brightness control on my Sony VAIO + nVidia graphics, Ubuntu Hardy 8.04, is command line:

$ smartdimmer -s 15

Where 15 is the brightness I wanted from a range 0 - 21.
