I am thinking of doing a live stream for the podcast so people can listen in while we are recording, and possibly call in with their opinion (but that is definitely a long way off).
Firstly, I am wondering if anyone knows how to do live streaming. I know there is shoutcast, but that isn't the best, and is mainly designed for Windows (but there is a Linux version). If there is no other option, I will probably go for shoutcast.
I want it to be nice and simple, and I know The Linux Link Tech Show and other shows do live streaming, but I am not sure of the software they use.
Also, if anyone knows how to do a live stream of a Skype conference, that will make life even easier. I am happy to use 2 computers, and I am looking into buying a small mixer to make it easier to manage the podcast.
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
