There's a comment on this Launchpad bug (currently the last comment) that looks like either a list of patch notes, or a list of known issues:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-lib/+bug/33736

The bug is marked 'fix released'. I'm not sure if this means a fix is forthcoming, or if it's supposed to be fixed now in Gutsy. This bug still exists in libasound2 1.0.14-1ubuntu7. Should I change the status back to Confirmed?

This post could be related to an Ubuntu bug filed at: https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/soyuz/+bug/150121 . ---------------------------- . .
The comment is a changelog entry (well, multiple, because it was also a merge from Debian) for a new version of the package that is meant to fix the bug. The fixed package should be available within a couple of hours of such a comment.

That was added by the changelog-closes-bugs feature. If a bug is mentioned in a changelog in the form `LP: #XXXXX', it will be automatically closed when uploaded.

I've filed a bug about it being unclear what it is.
