hey I was given a second hand pc with a lot of good window programs installed. I pulled the hd and added it to my girlfriends current computer. I works adn I can get at information but all teh programs think they are in the c drive and none of the d drive programs have made it to the start menu any thoughts on how to fix this?

Reinstall the programs...

Though if you can find every single file that each program you want to keep and move said file to the proper directory on the C:/ drive, it might work.
