I kind of like bananas. And that got me thinking ... I'm thirty years old, and I guess I've eaten bananas most of my life, on and off. The last fifteen weeks I'm sure I've had between 2 and 6 bananas every week but before that there might have been long periods of time between bananas. Is it possible that I've had more than 494 bananas in my life? That's not even 20 per year, is it?
And thank you, jakupl, for saving me the time it would take to investigate the thread to find the answer to my question ... I'd rather spend it talking about bananas ... ;-)

The 576 Curve Tracer is a rugged high power measurement system for tests on 2- and 3-terminal discrete semiconductors. With a collector supply of up to 220 W peak, adjustable current limiting is provided in the step generator. A display area readout of test results and setup parameters decreases the chances of operator error. Voltage step ranges are up to 1500 V and current step ranges are up to 20 A peak pulse. Switchable polarity and display magnification for more accurate resolution.

SiS 648 chipset
The 648 chipset has nearly every one of the latest features you might want in a new chipset. The 648 north bridge chip has a revamped AGP interface with AGP 8X support and—surprise!—twice the bandwidth of AGP 4X solutions. The front-side bus supports the latest Pentium 4 chips with 533MHz bus speeds. And the reworked memory controller is faster than in the 645/645DX chipsets, with the ability to host three DIMMs of DDR266 memory or two DIMMs of DDR333. Unofficially, the 648 will support DDR400, as well—the necessary bus-to-memory clock ratio is there, and it worked flawlessly in tests with a single stick of Corsair DDR400 memory.

E.R. = 2 ("er" in Chinese) :D
Here is a neat one...
Words to Numbers: 4
Take any whole number and write out its numeral in English, such as FIVE for the usual 5. Count the number of characters in the spelling. In this case, it is 4 — or FOUR. So, work now with the 4 or FOUR. Repeat with 4 to get 4 again. As another instance, try 163. To avoid ambiguity, I’ll arbitrarily say that we will include spaces and hyphens in our count. Then, 163 appears as ONE HUNDRED SIXTY-THREE for a total count of 23. In turn, this gives 12, then 6, then 3, then 5, and finally 4. Though this result is clearly language-dependent, other natural languages may have a comparable property, but not necessarily with 4 as the black hole.
You also can do that while excluding spaces and hyphens...
663

The Great Berber Revolt of 740-743 A.D. (122-25 A.H. in the Muslim calendar) took place during the reign of the Umayyad Caliph Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik and marked the first successful secession from the Arab caliphate (ruled from Damascus). The revolt began in Tangier in 740, and was led initially by Maysara al-Madghari, a member of the caliphal army.
