Testing Edubuntu 7.10 desktop beta on Mac mini
- monitor: Acer AL1713, 17 inch

No success in getting Live CD mode to install. I get blank screen. How to change the monitor settings?

Do edubuntu has alternate CD, to install on text mode?

Many thanks in advance.

Tried installing using safe mode. Got this error:

"The display server has been shut down about 6 times in the last 90 seconds. It is likely that something bad is going on. Waiting for 2 minutes before trying again on display :0"

<OK>

tried again after 2 minutes, but same problem....

Hi Again
Ive just installed Xubuntu 7.10 release candidate using the alternate cd only to end up at the same screen "the display server has been shutdown about 6 times in the last..........."
So No luck there
I'm going back to the beta!

I'm having this exact same problem with regular ubuntu 7.10 running my Lenovo Thinkpad T60 Widescreen. What was the last version of the beta that didn't have this bug?
