artmoney, tsearch, cheat engine alternatives?

Hey everyone, I've been running ubuntu on my laptop and my desktop for some time now, and gaming has never really been my cup of tea, but I was just wondering if there was an ubuntu alternative to programs such as artmoney, tsearch, or cheat engine that run on windows. The closest I've found is KCheat which was abandoned long ago. I read somewhere that gdb would work, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it to work. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated,

i just posted something like this, and seems to get results that scanmem was better than gdb

sudo apt-get install scanmem
